Day 11. Daly Waters, N.T. 7.7.26

Morning wander around the campground before breakfast. 



Beside and behind the car is a couple of thrill seekers who put their swags down for the night in a designated truck parking area.


Today we turned west and headed to the Stuart Hwy and Daly Waters. 

We encountered a lot of roadworks which had a very good detour. They appear to be flood mitigation work by making the road higher and putting in culverts. 




Tonight we are staying at the Daly Waters Pub. We have been here once before. This time we were earlier to arrive and got a spot 5 minutes walk from the pub. The below photos were taken in and around the pub.







We played phase 10 while waiting for the entertainment to start.













We didn't get back to our vans until 10 pm.Today we travelled 278 kms, total of 2,863 kms. The temperature range was 15-29°
