We had a restless night and didn't end up getting up until 7.30am. I was hoping to depart by 8 so that wasn't going to happen 🤷♀️ Departed at 8.50. First stop at the post office. Bumped into Renay and she insisted on taking a photo. She also suggested we try the coffee next door as it was good. So that put us back in time again 🤷♀️
Sent the gkids some postcards finally.
Stopped at Shell Beach. So much fun.

Tide was a long way out
After playing around at Shell Beach we realised we would be about 20 mins late to rendezvous with the rest of the group. Oh well, we eventually caught them up at the lunch stop at Galena Bridge on the Murchison River.
Final leg of the drive to Big River Ranch, just out of Kalbarri.
Lots of canola fields.
Also lots of wheat.
These look like lavender but I don't think they were.
The change in trees and flowers is incredible.
We have 2 nights at the big river ranch. Spotted kangaroos behind our van.
Todays temperature range was 9-22°. We travelled 375 kms, for a total of 7395.
