The water was bloody freezing ๐Ÿฅถ

The smaller pool was marginally better.

We hiked down to the waters edge

An interesting rig. Apparently it's a family of 4. The children sleep in the bottom part with mum and dad up in the rooftop.

We were picked up by a bus and taken to the boat for our cruise.

Short eared rock wallabies.

Dam wall
A freshie

Cormorants

7 spotted archer fish and various catfish.

Amethyst Island had a couple of crocs on it when we landed.

Went fossicking for amethyst.

Mark was the first to go in the water.

The color changes were beautiful at sunset.

A boat racing us back.
After such a big day out on the spectacular Lake we cooked dinner, did a bit of blogging (finished the next morning) read for a little while and had an early ish night.

Todays temperature range was 11-26°

Photos below were taken by others in our group.
