Day 20. Katherine. 16.7.26

Today we moved to a different caravan park on the other side of the river to meet up with the other people on our tour.

We went for another bike ride this morning, this time following the river again but going under the bridge instead of over it as we did the previous 2 days. It was Gunthers turn to get a flat tyre today.

Mark found a shop to buy a couple of thorn resistant tubes. He put one in my other tyre before we moved on. The smoke detector battery also needed changing.

Watch out for those potholes 

Low level bridge we had to cross to the new caravan park. 

We have a grassy, powered site at the Katherine Big 4 Park for tonight.

Day 1 of our tour.

We had a meet and greet at 4 pm. There will be 19 vans on tour together.  Some of them have done up to 15 trips with Xpedition Tagalong Tours. The camaraderie already seems very friendly.  We have elected to be the tail end Charlie.

We had a lamb shank dinner at the park Cafe with our 'new friends'.

We travelled 11 kms today, total of 3,155 kms.
