Day 43. Exmouth. 8.8.26

 Day 24 of our tour.

Morning - meet up at the main entrance for a glass bottom boat trip with snorkelling on the reef.

Afternoon - free to explore.

There's a pair of resident emus at the van park.

After a mix up of the pick up time we eventually boarded the bus and headed to Tantabiddi boat ramp.  Our driver stopped to show us the Mildura wreck on the way.

It was impossible to get photos through the glass bottom boat but we saw a big array of different coral and fish.

I went for a snorkel around and in between some big bommies and saw beautiful colourful fish. I loved it but didn't take the go pro. The current was a bit strong and the water a bit choppy so needed to concentrate on not drowning or being pushed to far from the boat.

Cleaning the bottom of the boat.

American naval base.
They can talk to submarines anywhere in the world.
The big prawn.

The weather was overcast, windy and chilly most of the day.
The temperature range was 16-25°.

The wind  picked up as we went to bed.
