Day 46. Denham. 11.8.25

 Day 27 of our tour. 

Briefing 8.45 for 9am departure. 

Destination Denham. 

Time on the road 4 1/2 hrs.

Distance to travel 326 kms.

We got off to a bit of a late start as we couldn't hitch up until everyone else had moved. Not a lot to see today until we found all the wildflowers. Looked like carpets of beautiful colours. 

Whalebone Point Lookout. 

Even holes in rocks had flowers growing  in them.

We are staying at the Denham Seaside caravan park. Our site apparently fits a 26 foot van, which it probably could if there wasn't a wooden fence in the way as Mark swung the van into our site. Generously the man next door moved his car for easier access for us. Then he informed me that originally he was on our site but after 4 failed attempts to get in he asked them for another site 🤦🏽‍♀️

Anyway we got settled in and a message came around that there was a happy hour at the impressive, indoor camp kitchen so off we toddled.

Today we travelled 326 kms for a total of 7020.

Todays temperature range was 12-19°.
