Day 52. Sunset Beach. 17.8.26

Day 33 of our tour.
Free day to explore Geraldton.

Mark's still not well. He seems to get worse when the temperature drops. I gave him some cold/flu tablets and he managed a few hours sleep at a time, which was an improvement on the previous night.

We spent a couple of hours wandering around town.  Mark stayed in the car for some of it as it's very windy and drizzling rain.
We drove out to Point Moore to have a look at the Lighthouse. Unfortunately we were 1 day too late as it had an open day yesterday.

Every time I went to take this photo a wave cam and scared him off.

Pigeon blockade. Not in a hurry to leave.

How could we resist

Lighthouse keepers cottage was closed.

We saw a few lighthouses in roundabouts.
Art gallery.  We didn't go in any buildings as some were closed today and because Mark is sick we didn't want to spread any germs.

St Francis from across the road.

Todays temperature range was 17-22, with wind gusts up to 56 km/hr & 0.6 mm rain recorded 9am-6pm.
We drove ~ 40 kms sight seeing and getting fuel @ $2.35/L
