Day 51. Sunset Beach. 16.8.26

Day 32 of our tour.

Make our own way to Sunset Beach, Geraldton.

Distance to travel 155 kms.

Time on the road 2 hrs.

Went for a solo wander around the campground, while Markie snoozed.

Mark had a rough night coughing so not much sleep in our van for 2 nights in a row. We adjusted our plan for the day and didn't leave until 9.30.

We skipped going into Port Gregory and stopped on the side of the road to see the pink lake.

We did stop at the Lytton convict ruins. 

Stopped on the side of the road to look at the canola fields. I couldn't resist a selfie. 😍

Stopped at Northampton for a wander.

Lots of painted sheep around town. 

We are staying at the Sunset Beach Caravan Park for 2 nights. Sites are quite wide and we can hear the waves crashing.

Todays temperature range was 11-25°. We travelled 155 kms, for a total of 7,550.
