Day 59. Perth. 24.8.26

Today we chose to explore Kings Park and the Botanical Gardens.  We had a great time, the gardens were fantastic,  the views over the city and the Swann River were beautiful and we walked over 6 kms. We spent about 4 hours there before Mark was getting a little tired. He's still not feeling 100%. There will be lots of flowery photos so feel free to scroll on.

We drove past Optus stadium and the Matagarup Bridge across the Swann River.

We did see the  black cockatoo, red wattle birds, magpies,  willy wagtail and a parrot today.

After an hour or 2 we decided to checkout the pathway along the river behind the van park. We walked another 4 kms.

Today we have walked 10 kms. The temperature range was 7-19°.
