Day 37. 80 Mile Beach. 2.8.26

Day 18 of our tour.
Free day to explore.

Explore we did! Early-ish walk on the beach. The tide was out so lots of beach to walk on.

Crested pigeons.

A few of the treasures we saw on the beach.

"Let's go see what that black thing is out there"
No Markie thankfully it wasn't a crocodile but an old refrigerator that had been there for a long time.
All sorts of tracks in the sand again today.

Rocks made from mud? Some of the holes were still filled with water and shells.

This looked like a wine rack.
Went back down to the beach in the afternoon to actually see and feel the water. Lots of people fishing, sun baking and driving. The caravan park advised not to swim.

Seagulls were harassing the fisher people.
We had a long happy hour today.
There was a movie on offer at #13 van. Mark went but I'd had enough socialising for the day so stayed home, did some chores then read.

Todays temperature range was 18-31°
