Up early this morning to catch a bus at 7 am for an incredible adventure. 🐋 🦈
We are doing a Whale Shark Eco Tour.
'Discover the magic of Ningaloo on our full-day ocean adventure experiencing coral formations and glittering reef fish. Guided by our spotter plane, we will search for chances to swim with the largest fish in the sea – the whale shark! On these tours we may also encounter manta rays, turtles, dolphins and dugong. From our spacious vessel and panoramic upper viewing deck, take in sweeping views of migrating humpback whales and the stunning turquoise waters of the Ningaloo lagoon. 1st time I've ever had a wetsuit on.
We saw LOTS of very active humpback whales. It was hard to get good photos but I have some amazing memories of breaching, tail and fin slaps.
Sat and chatted with the captain, Zac, for awhile.
We had a pod of dolphins come to play in the waves made by our boat.
Mark lining up to go back in for his 4th swim with the whaleshark. I did 3 swims and then got a cramp in my leg so sat out for the rest.

A couple of humpbacks came to wave us off as we departed for the shore.
The bus took us from the eastern side around to Tantabiddi on the western side where we cruised up and down the coast. We were doing ~18km/hr and went out about 3km from land.
It was an amazing adventure and one i would recommend everyone do ♥️
We have a heap of photos and video on the GoPro and tomorrow we'll pick up some photos the dive company took. That will be a different post.
We checked out the night markets (10 stalls) and bought a few postcards from the photographer on todays tour. Her photos are on the cards.
